Saturday night was a good night for SMR. We got to the track a little late due to Steven's baseball game earlier in the day. That put us a little behind. We weren't able to practice, and went right into the heat race. We just stayed out of the way to scuff in the new tires and get ready for the feature. Started 8th in the feature and was making a charge until the left rear suspension broke. We held our position but were unable to gain anymore ground. Had a nice top 5 finish. Next race in 2 weeks in Punta Gorda.
