Punta Gorda Florida - June 4, 2011

The good news:  I finished……..in 5th place, but I finished.  The bad news – the car was junk!  The night started off good.  I started on the front row.  I was in 2nd for the first 8 laps, until the brake spring broke and got wedged under the gas pedal, which dropped me back to 5th.  Once the brake spring broke free, I was able to catch the lead pack, but ran out of laps.  Overall, not a bad race.  I just hope we can keep more than one wheel on the ground next time.
