The day started off bad from the moment we rolled off the trailer. Somehow, the set-up was completely gone. We were actually dragging the belly pan on the track. With the help of fellow racers, we were able to dial the car back into decent shape through the second practice & heat race. Thanks again to Jack, Ted & Ray! But our problems didn't stop there. The spectator car fire in the parking lot should have been an omen (car burnt to the ground). We were looking good in the feature until we discovered we didn't fuel the car and came do a rolling stop on the back straight away on lap 4. Very disappointed by the bonehead move. The team was considering firing the crew chief, but since he's the owner, he vetoed that idea LOL. It must have been the super moon! We won't make that mistake again. Next race in two weeks.
