We got to the track early to work on the set-up. The car would get a
little better in one practice, then go bad the next. I noticed a severe
handling problem in practice 2. It seemed to go away in practice 3.

In the feature, the car was awesome! Still raising right front, but fast.
I moved into 2nd on lap 4.  Then I took the lead on lap 6 and started to
check out.  I came up on lap traffic on lap 15 and totally miscalculated
my closing speed and punted car #6 in the rear.  I dropped my belly pan
which brought out a yellow.  The caution caused Chris Gimmler and Jamie
Barnum to collect each other in the front straight away.  Luckily, both
drivers walked away but their cars were done for the evening.

At the re-start, the car didn't feel quite right.  After several laps, the
car began to push up towards the wall.  Basically, my car was out of
control coming out of the corner.  This allowed car #1, Jack Duffy, to get
inside me.  My car shot left and touched his wheel, causing me to spin
out.  When I re-started to join the field, my steering was completely
gone.  I was done for the night with 3 laps to go.  I ended up in 6th
place.  We found the problem on steering.  Broken steering linkage.

Next race is June 4th in Punta Gorda.
